Our annual school Cross Country races will be held after morning tea, from 11.30 -1.00PM.
This is a family day and parents, grandparents, caregivers and siblings are all invited to come and cheer the children on. It is a fun and exciting day for the children and they are always so excited to have family encouraging them as they run.

PARKING is always difficult on the day due the number of visitors, so please arrive early! (If you are planning to race over from work, leave enough time to walk from wherever you have to park)

ALL children need to come to school ready to run in their blue ST FRANCIS t-shirts and black shorts, (junior children not essential for black shorts, but dark shorts if possible). They wear this uniform all day!!
ALL children to wear suitable footwear and have a drink bottle.
The approximate times for the races are as follows
• 5year boys, 11.30, followed by 5 year girls.
• 6year boys, 11.45, followed by 6 year girls.
• 7 year boys, 12.00, followed by7 year girls.
• 8 year boys, 8 year girls , 12.15, run together.
• 9 year boys, 9 year girls , 12.30, run together.
• 10/11 year boys, 10/11 year girls 12 45, run together.
It would be wonderful to have the names of parents who can help us with judging on the day to the school office ASAP.
Parents ,for our senior year 5 and 6 students to be eligible to compete at the INNER CITY SCHOOLS CROSS COUNTRY day they must compete at our ST FRANCIS SCHOOL CROSS COUNTRY, (so keep those buddying runners in tip top condition!).
The PTA will be cooking sausages for the children to have after they race and order forms will be coming home soon. Sausages, home baking, tea and coffee will be available on the day for the visitors to purchase at the PTA café.
We welcome all supporters.
Looking forward to a GREAT MORNING!!!!
